Adesh老師出生於喜馬拉雅山,在被譽為世界瑜珈之都的瑞詩凱詩長大。
15歲起追隨 Swami Arvind 和 Yogi Budhhi Prakash 2位大師學習瑜伽。並在不同國家有超過 13 年的教學經驗,目前在台灣教授瑜珈已超過 7 年。

某天,一個不經意的抬手動作拉傷了我的背部肌肉,也開啟我與瑜珈的第一次接觸。
而Master Sujit Kumar,則是自2010年至今,這七年多時間我一直跟隨練習的老師。
從筋骨僵硬、肢體不靈活、這裡不通、那裡不舒服的狀態,持續地、慢慢地、漸漸地練習到現在。那些曾經困擾我的身體、生活、工作問題,也一一獲得改善或解決。
進而,再跟隨著Master Sujit與Professor Prabir Karmakar進修瑜珈師資培訓課程,帶著一顆想用自己能力可及的方式去幫助人的心,我想將我從瑜珈獲得的一切,分享給更多人。也希望透過這樣的分享,可以幫助他人減緩苦痛與困擾。
從一路跟隨著練習的老師們身上,我學習到的是如何正確又不受傷的瑜珈練習方式、持之以恆的耐心、以及將瑜珈精神態度融入生活裡。現在,我也想將這樣的態度與精神傳遞出去,希望有更多人能從瑜珈裡,找到平靜、健康、希望、喜樂與慈愛。
One day, I strained my back muscles in a careless hand-raising movement, which however initiated my first encounter with yoga.
Master Sujit Kumar is the teacher I have been following to practice yoga since 2010.
From having stiff muscles, bones, and inflexible limbs, feeling stuck and uncomfortable here and there, I still continued my practice; then slowly and gradually, those physical, life, work issues used to trouble me all have been improved or resolved as well.
I furthermore took a another step to receive Yoga Teacher Training courses from Master Sujit and Professor Prabir Karmakar; with the intention of helping others by my own power, I want to share everything I’ve acquired from yoga with more people, and hopefully this type of sharing can help others to alleviate their pain and solve their issues.
Thanks to the teachers I’ve been followed for practice, I’ve learned the correct approaches to practice yoga without injuries, perseverance, and how to incorporate yogi spirits and attitudes into life. Now, I’d like to pass these spirits and attitudes forward, wishing more people would find peace, health, hope, joy, kindness and love in yoga.

對任何體育項目都不在行的我,在2007年接觸瑜珈後,每一天我總是期待著瑜珈練習。在瑜珈裡我喜歡站姿體位法裡的穩定紮實,前彎時謙遜低頭也誠實的看進自己,然後扭轉之後腦中千迴百轉的思緒好像變得簡單,倒立及平衡時腦袋與心的平靜專注,讓我真實的感受當下。 瑜珈沒有改變身邊的任何人與事,但自從我練習瑜珈開始它讓我一點一滴的慢慢變得開朗,也讓我找到笑容在我自己的臉上。
I wasn’t good at any sports, now I expect to stand on my yoga mat everyday since 2007 I started my first yoga practice. I like to find stillness in standing asanas; I like to look into myself in forward bends; I like everything seems to be simpler after a twist; I enjoy nothing in my mind but only present while I’m upside down. Yoga doesn’t change things around me, but since I practice yoga I become more discipline, optimistic and open minded.

在心被挖空的那一刻,瑜伽默默地出現,填滿了生活中的空白,但卻成為折磨身體的工具,跟壓抑情緒的手段,彷彿一天沒練習四五個小時以上,整個世界馬上會因此而崩壞瓦解,雖然表面看似平靜,但底下卻暗潮洶湧,常常無預警地遭受海嘯般的負面情緒侵襲;直到開始茹素,直到遇見 Ashtanga,直到投身 Mysore 的練習,黑暗的枷鎖慢慢透出光線,瑜伽真正的面容才漸漸顯露出來。
瑜伽敎導的第一課是 Ahimsa (不暴力)。藉由茹素,我們對生命不暴力、對世界不暴力;藉由有紀律、有覺知的練習,我們對身體不暴力;藉由不斷的練習與不執著,我們學習對心靈不暴力。
瑜伽敎導的第二課是 Satya (真實)。瑜伽經 II-46 指出,體位法 (Asanam) 是穩定 (Sthira) 而舒適 (Sukham) 的姿勢,Asana 的梵文意思是「坐」,而非高難度的技巧。用體位法來鍛鍊身體,讓我們能真實面對外在的不完美,接受現實並勇敢面對;用體位法來鍛鍊心靈,讓我們能真實面對內在的不完美,慢慢放下種種執著與習氣。
現代人生活步調緊湊,家庭及工作壓力繁重,造成身心靈不平衡,最後產生各種身心病狀;透過正確的瑜伽練習,盼能從基本姿勢的調整,將學生內外在的衝突慢慢減少;瑜伽的練習不是在課堂上模仿動作,或只是拉拉筋,而是透過瑜伽來找到與身體的連結,與心靈的連結,與高我的連結,進一步生活在以靈性引導人性的真實快樂裡。希望能秉持傳承的信念走在瑜伽的道路上,讓人們回到應該有的樣子。 Practice, practice, and all is coming. ~ Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915/7/26~2009/5/18).
From the moment my heart was evacuated, yoga quietly made the entry to fill up the blanks in life, but it also became a tool to torture my body and means to suppress my emotions, as if my world will immediately crumble down without practicing four or five hours a day. I was seemingly at peace at the surface, while the undercurrent was turbulent and I was constantly attacked by the tidal waves of negative emotions out of the blue. Not until I became a vegetarian, encountered Ashtanga, and dedicated myself to Mysore practice, did the light slowly seep in through the shackle of darkness, and then the real face of yoga gradually reveal itself.
The first lesson of Yoga is “Ahimsa (non-violence)”; by being vegetarian, we don’t cause violence to life and to the world; by practicing with disciplines and awareness, we don’t cause violence to our body; by practicing undisrupted and non-attachment, we learn not to cause violence to our mind.
The second lesson of Yoga is “Satya (Truth)”. Yoga Sutra II-46 said that asanam is a steady (Sthira) and comfortable (Sukham) posture, and the Sanskrit meaning of “Asana” is “sitting”, rather than an advanced technique. Training our body with Asana allows us to truthfully face the external imperfection, to accept and bravely face the reality; training our mind with Asana allows us to face the internal imperfection, to slowly let go of all attachments and bad habits.
In modern society, the compacted life pace, the heavy pressure in family and at work all lead to the imbalance of our body, mind, and soul, which eventually resulted in all kinds of physical and mental illness. I am hoping to slowly reduce students’ internal and external conflicts by adjusting basic postures through practicing yoga correctly. Yoga practice is not imitations of movements in class or merely stretching, it is to find the connection with your own body, mind, and higher self through yoga, and then further to live in the genuine happiness where spirituality guides human nature. I hope I am walking on the journey of yoga, holding the faith that I can pass on, and bring people back to what we should be.

2000 年為追求身體健康,開始接觸瑜珈體位法,並持續有規律的練習,2008 年開始閱讀哈達瑜珈經 Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā、勝王瑜珈經 Yoga Sūtra、博伽梵歌 bhagavad-gītā、王者之王瑜珈經 Aṣṭāvakra Gītā 透過經典的教導來鍛鍊瑜珈,2010年因書本認識了邱顯峰老師,開始跟隨學習至今,也因此因緣而接觸阿南達瑪迦,了解到人生真諦「自我了悟、服務社會」為想服務更多的人開始了我瑜珈的教學,為教學讓我更精進的自我成長,個人教學依照經典教導:瑜珈八肢同步鍛鍊,包含有身體層、能量層、心靈層、心靈導向靈性層不同層次的體會,希望大家都能在身心靈上受益。
個人有許多初始接觸瑜伽,身體無法配合的體悟,逐步的排除障礙的實際鍛鍊的經驗可以分享,懂得如何聽身體的帶給我們的訊息,並能將身體的鍛鍊與心、靈結合,健康是由內而外,讓瑜伽體位法的練習實質帶來身心的詳和,若有機會很願意把自己因瑜伽所獲得與您分享,散播喜悅散播愛。

For the pursuit of physical health, I approached yogic asana and continued regular practice since 2002 ; in 2008, I started reading Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā, Yoga Sūtra, bhagavad-gītā, and Aṣṭāvakra Gītā for training in yoga through the classic teachings. In 2010, I came to know Teacher Xianfeng Qiu beause of a few books, and I’ve been following him for my learnings ever since. Due to this, I also came in contact with Ananda Marga Pracharaka Samgha, which made me realize that the true meaning of life lies in “personal development, social service”; wishing to serve more people, I henceforth began teaching yoga, which also refines my personal growth. My teaching is based on the classics: training the eight limbs of yoga simultaneously, which includes the different layers of feelings and awareness about physical level, energy level, mind level, and spiritual level; I hope everybody can bring benefits to their body, mind, and soul.
I have quite some personal experiences to share about finding difficulty collaborating my body at the early stage of practicing yoga, while gradually removed the obstacles through the training, and understand how to listen to the message our body carries to further connect mind and soul with physical training. Being healthy is an outward movement starts internally, we shall let the real substance of practicing yogic asana bring harmony to our body and mind. If chance permits, I’d love to share what I’ve gained from yoga with you, and spread bliss and love to the world.

Sujit 老師出生於印度東北部的哲雪菩(Jamshedpur),5歲開始學習瑜珈,沒多久就巡迴印度各城市參加全印度各大瑜珈競賽,拿下多項獎座榮耀,包括連續六年獲得印度東北省瑜珈冠軍中的冠軍,以及2006年榮獲印度瑜珈比賽中的最高榮譽頭銜「Yoga Arjuna」。至今仍無人能打破他創下的光輝紀錄。
持續的研究進修是一位老師精進並豐富教學內容的必備條件之一。即使已經在印度、香港與台灣累積了長達16年的教學經驗,Master Sujit仍不間斷地找機會進修精進。他維持每年回印度進修至少兩次,與各地不同派別領域瑜珈大師學習交流,包括在印度Bihar School of Yoga於Rikhiapeeth分校研習Tatwa Shudhi身體五大元素淨化法、Pranayama調息呼吸法、Chakra脈輪與Kundalini拙火瑜珈等。
此外,Master Sujit也是YAI印度國際瑜珈協會(Yoga Alliance International India)認證的資深瑜珈教師與大師、RYT美國瑜珈聯盟(Registered Yoga Tacher )認證指導教師,以及印度國家級委員會QCI(Quality Council of India)官方認證的瑜珈指導師。此外,他也具有空中瑜珈、兒童瑜珈以及艾楊格瑜珈專業證書。目前正持續地在印度Svyasa瑜珈大學(Svyasa Yoga University)進修他的碩士學位。
Master Sujit 對於瑜珈哲學的領會也有他個人的獨特風格,生活裡有瑜珈、瑜珈裡有生活,逐漸發展出一套「 Master Sujit的生活瑜珈」哲學,這種生活哲學正是瑜珈人最高境界的領略。他常強調:「瑜珈不僅是坐在墊上練習各種不同的體位法而已,瑜珈的修練更是與我們的日常生活息息相關。」 所以總希望學生能夠學習與自己的身體對話,靜下心來慢慢體會感受每一次的練習、並觀察身體的變化與進步。他也說:「傾聽內在自我的聲音,仔細感受每一種體位法的滋味。每一種體位法都有它的獨特味道,即使是練習同一種體位法,也會因為每次姿勢位置不同而體驗到不同的滋味。」這也是吸引台灣、香港、韓國、日本與東南亞各地學生跟隨他學習的主要原因之一。
多年來,他一直秉持著「Sthira Sukam Asanam」(體位法練習目的,是讓身體維持在一種穩定、舒適的狀態下)精神,針對不同的主題與學生的身體狀況,以簡單易懂的體位法編排課程內容。他持續地舉辦各式瑜珈工作坊、瑜珈師資訓練課程等,不藏私地傳授他自己在瑜珈世界中學習體悟到的各種收穫。他致力於將瑜珈這個古老印度哲學傳播到全世界,讓更多人能達到身、心、靈平衡的境界。
在台灣教學期間,已著作《跟著印度老師學瑜珈》、《全家老小不生病的健康瑜珈》、《Sujit老師的七堂神奇瑜珈課》、《3分鐘解痛瑜珈》、《Sujit老師的修復瑜珈全書》、《Sujit老師的好孕瑜珈課》等,並受邀「商周良醫健康網」擔任專欄作家。
Master Sujit Kumar was born in Jamshedpur of North India. He has been practicing yoga since the age of 5. He has participated in numerous competitions in all India and got numerous awards, including six consecutive years of “Champion of Champion” of North Province India, and the highest award “Yoga Arjuna” in 2006. Until today there is no one breaks his such glorious record in his province.
To keep studying is the must-have of a great teacher. Master Sujit has over 16 years of various teaching experiences in India, Hong Kong and Taiwan, now he is still eager to learn and improve himself. Every year he goes back to India at least twice to practice and communicate with all kinds of Yoga Masters, including to study Tatwa Shudhi, Pranayama, Chakra and Kundalini in Bihar School of Yoga Rikhiapeeth.
Master Sujit is the certified Senior Yoga Teacher and Great Master of YAI (Yoga Alliance International India), America RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher), and India official certified Yoga Teacher (QCI – Quality Council of India). He also is a certified Ariel Yoga Teacher and Kids Yoga Teacher, as well as got a certification of Iyenga Yoga. Now he keeps his learning in Svyasa Yoga University India for his master’s degree.
Master Sujit has his unique insights about Yoga, so called “Master Sujit’s Living Yoga”: he lives in Yoga, and his Yoga practice is living. He always emphasizes: “Yoga is not only practicing different postures on the mat, but it is also deeply related to our daily life.” He encourages his students to learn to listen and communicate to their body and to observe and feel the changes and progress of each practice, to merge what the inspirations they got from Yoga into their daily life. He said: “Listen to your inner sound, feel every asana’s flavor. Every asana has its specific taste. Even you practice the same asana it tastes differently every time. That’s because our physical condition is not same every time we practice.” That’s the reason why students from different countries, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and South East Asia, love to follow his teaching.
For years, Master Sujit upholds the spirit of “Sthira Sukam Asanam”(Stay in a posture steadily and comfortably), to design asana practice sequences according to each theme of class and different conditions of students. He is dedicated and patient to host various workshops and Yoga Teacher’s Training Course to share all what he learns and knows about Yoga’s essence. He commits himself to deliver this ancient wisdom all over the world, to make more people to get a well balance of body, mind and soul.
During his 7 years of stay and teaching in Taiwan, he wrote and published three titles of Yoga book: 《跟著印度老師學瑜珈》、《全家老小不生病的健康瑜珈》、《Sujit 老師的七堂神奇瑜珈課》. And now he is one of the columnists of best seller weekly 「商周良醫健康網」(Health-Business Weekly).
